The list of Inside Facebook shows only the 10 most powerful countries in absolute MAU (monthly active users). Countries with the wheels with penetration (Pen), there are some, such as Iceland with 50%, where even Facebook is expecting any more significant growth. In Germany, the low penetration (8%) with strong local networks (studiVZ, etc.) is explained, but also counted on the other hand, with the strongest growth in the coming months.
Was also in the listing of Facebook groups done on Google over the past three months, a huge jump (caused by a different weighting of social media in the Google algorithm). While in October 2009 was 52 million groups have been ejected in the search results, there are now 620 million! So about the same groups are listed in Facebook, such as pages on eBay. Facebook now has a total of 1.96 billion pages listed in Google more than Yahoo!
Not surprising that the consulting firm Sophos found in its latest survey of 500 U.S. companies as Facebook's largest security threat to businesses of all social networks. The sheer size brings with it. The link to the report can be found at the top.
