Tourism crisis management and social media
[17 May 2011; 09:30 to 17:00. ] Perhaps the impression is so subjective, but apparently, the international travel industry increasingly shaken by crisis-like developments (and I do not mean the low margins). Nuclear meltdown, earthquakes, tsunamis, more or less peaceful revolutions, ash clouds, fast bankruptcy, strikes - just to name a few.

Blogger Summit @ ITB 2009
[11 March 2009 to 12th March, 2009. ]
This year the ITB Bloggers Summit held for the second time.
On March 11, it's that time again. Last year we were still a relatively small group, mostly from Germany (of course in Berlin), the USA, Canada and Great Britain.
This time I expect a much larger audience. Even the 2.Tourismuscamp in Eichstätt had shown the growing community of bloggers.

This old, here modified, football wisdom come true yet again!
When the holidays (week?) Are over tourism is the second camp on 24 and 25 January 2009 in Eichstätt in front of the door.
The venue is again the University of Eichstätt. Organizers are again the gentlemen of the tourism future blog (Jens, Florian and Daniel) and Eichstätt Professor Hopfinger of the university.
